Yes it is enough speed for most of the on demand services offered by the BBc, ITV and Five. Live channels generally need internet speeds of at least 1 Mbps. If you can then we recommend that you go with 2 Megabit (2 Mbps) connection then you will be able to watch everything without any problem.
There are several Sky channels or programs available at no extra cost. There are other channels available at an extra cost or if you or your family already has Sky in the UK. Your Laptop should have a female S Video connection - You just need an S Video lead to your TV and it will feed the signal into your Plasma or LCD TV. If your laptop or PC is older then you can buy a small connecter box that connects to your VGA port at the back of your computer then a yellow video phono lead to your TV.
